Defying Gravity still made me cry though and is still my favorite song. This song fueled me to make bold decisions in my early 20's and go after my goals despite insecurity and people trying to talk me down.įunny enough, this month I finally got to see Wicked on broadway (a bit more than a decade later from that first time) and I found myself most impressed by and connected to No Good Deed. As a 19 year old, it spoke to my heart on a deep level. It was so incredible and evoked so many emotions. I think I blacked out during this scene lol. My college choir did a beautiful arrangement of For Good so our director organized subsidized tickets to see Wicked that semester!! We were sitting in loge and my group of friends scored the front row center seats somehow. Before posting, please message the mods to coordinate when you'll be posting and proof.
